What You’ll Need:
- 45g cream of rice
- 1 cup water
- ½ cut egg whites
- 10-20g sugar free maple syrup
- 20g peanut butter
- ½ banna
- Pinch of salt
The Right Tools for the Job:
- Scale (Check Out My scale)
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by measuring 45g of cream of rice into a microwave safe bowl with 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt.
- Once combined, microwave on high for 30 seconds.
- Give everything a good stir and put back in the microwaves on high for 1 minute.
- The consistency of the mixture should start to thicken up by this point. Slowly add in the egg whites to prevent any clumping.
- Put that back in the microwave on high for 30 seconds.
- Again, give it a good stir to remove any clumps and put back in the microwave for 1 minute on high.
- At this point the mixture should be a thick and fluffy consistency. Add in the sugar free maple syrup to taste (I normally do about 10 grams) and mix.
- Finally add your toppings a drizzle of the sugar free syrup, 20g grams of peanut butter and ½ a banana. (this part is very customizable, see variations for some other ideas)
